Your TAGB Instructor - Miss Carol Gameson

The TAGB instructor for Ashby & Coalville  is Carol Gameson. She is a 4th Degree Black Belt and fully qualified TAGB instructor. She  began training with the TAGB in 1990. Since then she has achieved numerous titles (click here for a full list).  

After Carol's Black belt grading in 1994, she was awarded the Tae Kwon-do -  Hall of Fame Award for most outstanding performance  in the Black Belt grading in which there were 250 people grading from all over the country.  

Carol is now semi-retired from competition sparring and concentrates on coaching her own students, and has produced British, English, Welsh, Interclub, and National Team champions. After passing part 1 & 2 TAGB instructors courses she opened the club at Ashby in May 1995. In 1996 she completed her Umpires 1 & 2 and when on to pass her Referees 1 & 2 to become a qualified TAGB official. In October 1999 she passed her 3rd Dan grading once again achieving Best Black Belt Grading from over 350 Students all over the UK, but most recently Carol was promoted to 4th Dan in October 2003.

Carol recently appeared in a book called "The Ultimate Martial Arts" by Faye Goodman, demonstrating various techniques of Tae Kwon-do.  Most recently Carol opened a another club at Coalville in 2000.
